Berklee Global Initiatives delivers a week of remote engagements starting on December 1, 2020, with our Berklee Global Academic Partner the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in Ramat HaSharon, Israel.

The sessions will feature accomplished graduates of the Rimon-Berklee program with Start at Rimon and Finish at Berklee as they share their experiences as students and professionals.

Conservatorio de Nacional Musica - First Symposium on Arts Education

This session will focus on today's global Dominican musicians. It will feature guitarist and composer Aida De Moya and drummer and engineer Vlade Guigni. Both are Berklee graduates who attended the Berklee in Santo Domingo programs held at the National Conservatory of Music in Santo Domingo. Director of Contemporary Music and Berklee alumnus Javier Vargas will also co-lead the discussion.

For the second session, Berklee and Rimon then delve into Berklee’s RAIDAR (Rights and Asset Information in Decentralized, Authoritative Repositories) with the Director of Berklee’s Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship Nicole D’Avis and her students. This session will also feature RImon alumnus Nir Averbuch.

Berklee Global Initiatives and Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology are teaming up to offer this Global Connections session for current and prospective students and music lovers worldwide to learn about Mohawk and Berklee collaboration.

In this session you will learn about how you can transfer your courses from Mohawk College to get advanced standing at Berklee. With degrees in performance, composition, electronic design, songwriting, film scoring, music production, recording engineering, music therapy, and music education, Berklee offers an opportunity for everyone to further their education in music and get experience working with their Grammy award winning faculty and alumni.

Offering degrees in person and online, Berklee is more accessible now than ever before. In this workshop, staff from Berklee will share how you can tailor your study at Berklee to suit your needs, as well as how Berklee has put more supports in place to make it more affordable for students from anywhere in the world to attend and pursue their musical interests.
